This APEC Polishing Carbon Filter is an exceptional value for general applications where long life, high purity, and low change-out frequency are required. Composed of acid-washed carbon media, this APEC Water Filter is designed for maximum chlorine, taste, and odor reduction. The threaded connections are precision-cut by machine, resulting in the most accurate and repeatable thread possible. Cap and body are spin-welded together, producing a smooth, consistent seal without the use of glues or binders that can cause contamination.

This filter can be used in icemakers, refrigerators, beverage equipment, drinking fountains, under-the-counter systems, RO systems, and in conjunction with purification systems. 3/8-inch quick-connect fittings with friction-welded construction provide tool-free installation and a reliable, no-leak seal.

The US-made GAC acid-washed carbon filter removes chlorine, odor, and taste, and can filter up to 1,500 gallons of water or be replaced every 12 months. This versatile and disposable inline filter can be used in an RO system to remove any possible residual taste from the tank. It is compatible with APEC RO-Hi, upgraded 3/8" output RO-45, RO-90, RO-PH90, RO-PERM, and any other RO systems with upgraded 3/8" outputs only.
