The 1st stage is a Multi-layer 5 micron Sediment filter with a 2.5" diameter and 9.84" length, fitting standard 10" filter housing canisters. Made of pure Polypropylene with no BPA, it conforms to ISO 9001:2000 Manufacturing standard and removes sediment, dirt, sand, and rust. It should be replaced every 12 months.

The 2nd and 3rd stages are Activated coconut shell carbon blocks, each with a 5 micron rating, 6,000 gallons of chlorine reduction capacity, or 2,000 gallons of RO water usage capacity. These 2.75" diameter, 9.84" length filters are made of 100% high-quality coconut shell carbon, designed to minimize channeling and extend service life. They remove sediment, chlorine, chloramines, taste, odor, THM, VOC, pesticide, and herbicide, and should be replaced every 12 to 18 months.

The 4th stage is a TFC-50 standard size RO membrane, designed to fit standard RO membrane housing canisters. With a 1.75" diameter, 2" diameter with seal, and 11.74" length, this high-quality membrane from a USA manufacturer offers a 95% rejection rate and improved efficiency for extended service life. It should be replaced every 3 to 5 years.

The 5th stage is a 2"x10" Omnipure inline carbon filter with coconut shell activated carbon for final polishing and improving water taste. With a 2" diameter and 10" length, the 1/4" quick connect fittings make it easy to install. This filter should be replaced every 12 months.
