The second and third stages feature an activated coconut shell carbon block with a 5-micron rating. Offering a chlorine reduction capacity of 6,000 gallons or an RO water usage capacity of 2,000 gallons, this filter measures 2.75" in diameter and 9.84" in length. The final, fifth stage is an inline carbon filter measuring 2" in diameter and 10" in length, filled with coconut shell activated carbon for final polishing and improved water taste. With 1/4" NPT inlet/outlet and quick-connect fittings, this filter should be replaced every 12 months to maintain optimal taste and odor removal.
