This premium quality filter set lasts over 12 months, resulting in fewer filter change-outs and high-performance contaminant removal. These standard-size filters, measuring 10 inches, are compatible with all standard-size under-counter RO systems.

The 1st stage is a high-grade 10-inch high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter that removes dust, particles, and rust. The 100% pure polypropylene depth filter has an exceptional dirt-holding capacity, translating to longer life and fewer change-outs compared to existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters.

The 2nd and 3rd stages are premium extruded carbon block 10-inch filters that remove unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness, and colors. These filters also eliminate VOCs and other common chemicals from the water. APEC's extruded carbon block filters consist of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, these extruded carbon block cartridges will not channel or bypass due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core.

The filter set is compatible with APEC's RO-45, RO-90, RO-PERM, RO-PUMP, and all other standard-size under-counter reverse osmosis systems.

This APEC polishing carbon filter is an exceptional value for general applications where long life, high purity, and low change-out frequency are required. The filter can be used in icemakers, refrigerators, beverage equipment, drinking fountains, under-the-counter systems, RO systems, and in conjunction with purification systems.

The cap and body are spin-welded together, producing a smooth, consistent seal without the use of glues or binders that can cause contamination. The threaded connections are precision-cut by machine, resulting in the most accurate and repeatable thread possible.

Composed of acid-washed carbon media, this APEC water filter is designed for maximum chlorine, taste, and odor reduction.

The filter set includes (1) sediment and (2) carbon block filters to protect and extend the life of the RO system (APEC Water ULTIMATE Series). The 1st stage polypropylene sediment filter removes dust, particles, and rust, while the nominal 5-micron rating GAC acid-washed carbon removes chlorine, odor, and taste (APEC Inline Carbon Filter).
