Compatible with APEC RO-90, RO-PERM, and all other standard-size under-counter 50-90 GPD RO systems on the market, the 5-stage filter set delivers exceptional filtration. The 1st stage is a high-grade 10-inch high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter that removes dirt, particles, and rust. This 100% pure polypropylene depth filter boasts exceptional dirt-holding capacity, translating to a longer life and fewer change-outs than existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters.

The 2nd and 3rd stages consist of premium extruded carbon block 10-inch filters that effectively eliminate unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness, and colors. These filters also remove VOCs and other common harmful agents from the water. APEC's extruded carbon block filters are crafted with activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block, providing enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency, unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, which are susceptible to channeling or bypassing.

The 4th stage features a high-rejection 90 GPD TFC reverse osmosis membrane, removing a wide variety of impurities, including arsenic, chlorine, lead, fluoride, chromium, and radium. The 5th stage is an advanced coconut shell-refining carbon 10-inch TCR filter, which removes any possible residual taste from the tank.
